General Rental Terms and Conditions, Reservations and Deposits, Cancellation and Refund Policy

General Rental Conditions

The boat rental prices are detailed on the website before starting the booking process.

To make the reservation of the boat, the customer must pay a percentage of the rental price of the boat that will vary according to boat and time slot, through bizum, cash, bank transfer or paypal. The customer will pay the remaining amount on the day of the boat rental. The payment will be made in our office.

In the case of the titled boats, fuel consumption and stays in any port other than the base port of the boat are not included in the rates, which will always be paid by the customer.

Deposit

The deposit will be retained as a guarantee for any penalty, damage or damage caused to the boat or any other circumstance attributable to the client or the persons for whom the client or the persons for whom he/she is responsible.

The amount deposited as a deposit will be returned when the boat is checked by our company.

In the event that the boat has any kind of damage, it will be charged to the customer and will be deducted from the amount paid as a deposit, or if applicable, the expenses necessary for its effective repair will be deducted from the deposit.

En aquellos supuestos en los que el daño no esté cubierto por la póliza del seguro contratada a tal efecto, serán por cuenta del CLIENTE, los gastos inherentes a la completa reparación de la embarcación, tal y como queda desglosado en el contrato.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

In case of cancellation by the client, the percentage paid for the reservation will not be refundable, except when the cancellation is due to adverse weather conditions.

What are adverse weather conditions?

Adverse weather conditions are those that prevent the boat from leaving the port or make the departure not to be carried out with full guarantees of safety for the CLIENT.

Examples of adverse weather conditions for navigation.

  • Forecast of strong waves
  • Strong wind forecast
  • Forecast of heavy rain

Examples of weather conditions that are NOT adverse for navigation.

  • There is a forecast of cloudy or light sunshine.
  • There is a chance of light rain for less than 20% of the total excursion.
  • We are cold because we have not brought warm clothing.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, we will act as follows:

  • We will look for an alternative date.

The change of date or time does not imply any reduction in the rate or conditions of the contract.

  • Refund of the reservation

In the event that weather conditions prevent safe boarding, and we cannot find an alternative date, we will proceed to refund the total amount paid for the reservation.

El Rompido Navega reserves the right to refuse the provision of the boat to the client in the event that the client lacks sufficient knowledge and experience to safely manage the boat. Likewise, the company will refuse the delivery of the boat in the event that the documentation presented by the client is not valid.
